I (webmaster and the site owner) am a part of the
Central European Sakala Family.
That maybe wouldn't be so important if we didn't know that the European is the largest one. Most of the USA immigrants called Sakala came from the Central Europe.
There are still memebers of the Sakala families in Hungary, Czechia, Southern Poland, and other countries but mostly in Slovakia.
Is the origin of Sakala name Slovakian?
One theory is located under the link "roots" to the left.
The most popular central Europiean Sakala is a ski jumper Jaroslav Sakala.
